Privacy Policy
Paper Parrot is a digital media brand operated by Hermeon Trism LLC. This policy explains what information Paper Parrot collects when you visit this website. The short version: we don't use cookies, analytics, ads or tracking.
What this site does not do
- We do not set cookies for readers.
- We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and we don't use third-party embeds that track you.
- We do not ask readers to create accounts, and we don't sell or share personal information.
Hosting and server logs
This website is a static site served through a hosting and content-delivery provider (Cloudflare). Like any web host, the provider automatically processes technical information needed to deliver pages and protect the service, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. This information is processed under the provider's own privacy policy. We don't use it to identify individual readers.
Search
Site search runs entirely in your browser. When you search, your browser downloads a search index from this website and matches your query locally. Your search terms are not sent to us or to a search company.
Links to our social profiles
The footer links to our official profiles on X, Instagram and Facebook. They are ordinary links: nothing is loaded from those services until you click one, and their own privacy policies then apply.
Share links
The "Share" links on stories are ordinary links to X and Facebook. Nothing is loaded from those services unless you click one, at which point their own privacy policies apply. "Copy link" copies the page address to your clipboard and sends nothing anywhere.
If you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to send. We use it only to respond and to act on your request, such as a correction or removal request, and we don't add you to any mailing list.
Editors
The site's content management area at /admin is for Paper Parrot editors only. Signing in uses GitHub, and GitHub's privacy policy applies to that sign-in.
Changes
If we add features that change what we collect, such as a newsletter, analytics or a contact form, we will update this policy before they go live.
